Stefan has been teaching hot yoga for more than a decade. Originally from Baton Rouge, he has lived and taught in Nevada, California, Texas and Seoul, South Korea. Now Stefan is fulfilling a long-time dream of bringing the yoga that he loves to his hometown.
Mercy started practicing the Original Hot Yoga twelve years ago. Her practice immediately began transforming her life for the better— physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Hot Yoga improved her confidence. She trained with Bikram and began teaching in 2005 and is passionate about sharing this experience with others.
Jasmin is a native of Baton Rouge, married for 10 years and is a proud mother of 4 boys. She is an LSU alum with a Bachelors in Kinesiology and a Master of Science from the University of North Texas (UNT) in Exercise Physiology. She began dancing at age 3 with emphasis in jazz and technique. Jasmin went on to become an LSU Golden Girl, UNT Dancer, Dallas Mavericks Dancer and a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. She has been a certified personal trainer at Texins (Texas Instruments’ gym facility), taught numerous fitness classes at UNT, and dance classes at Dallas Powerhouse of Dance. She has lived in Dallas & Philadelphia where she also taught elementary school and was an instructional math coach. Jasmin was introduced to Inferno Hot Pilates at Preservation Yoga in summer of 2017. She was immediately hooked on the style, and decided to attend training to become an instructor. Nowadays, you’ll find her as a student in hot yoga classes or instructing a hot Pilates class at the studio.
Amy trained in Los Angeles with Bikram and has been a certified Bikram Yoga teacher since 2011. She was introduced to the Bikram Yoga method in 2007 while training for the Denver Marathon. Amy is a dental assistant as well as a teacher here at preservation yoga. She is married with one daughter and 3 dogs. She loves traveling with her family, doing outdoor activities and running. She really enjoys teaching as well as taking classes at preservation yoga. When she’s not on the podium teaching, you might find her practicing right next to you.
